Any individual who is Bangladeshi and above the age of 18 or any Institution that originated in Bangladesh will qualify as a Local Investor. The requirements for account opening for each are mentioned below:

Single/Joint/Link Account:
• Duly filled BO Account opening forms.
• Three Copies Passport Size photographs of each applicant.
• One copy photograph of each nominee(s) is attested by the applicant.
• Both sides photocopy of National ID of each applicant and nominee(s).
• One copy passport size photograph of Power of attorney (If any).
• Two copies of photographs of the operator(duly attested by the applicant)
• Bank certificate from the respective bank.
• Photocopy of cheque leaf of the said bank account

For Limited Company Account:
• Duly filled BO Account opening forms.
• Memorandum of Article of Association (duly attested)
• Certificate copy of from-X11 from RJSC.
• Photocopy of Board resolution regarding opening the account.
• One copy passport size photograph of Power of attorney (If any).
• Three copies passport size photograph of the contact person.
• Both sides photocopy of National ID of the contact person.
• Bank certificate from the respective bank.
• Photocopy of TIN/ trade license.
• Photocopy of cheque leaf of the said bank account.
• Signature with Seal.

For Proprietorship Account:
• Duly filled BO Account opening forms.
• Three copies passport size photograph of the contact person.
• Both sides photocopy of National ID of the contact person.
• One copy passport size photograph of Power of attorney (If any)
• Photocopy of TIN/ Trade License/ VAT/ TAX.
• Bank certificate from the respective bank.
• Photocopy of cheque leaf of the said bank account
• Photocopy of cheque leaf of the said bank account.
